Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council ‘Business Games Challenge’

Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council ‘Business Games Challenge’

13 February 2025

The ‘Games’ will take place on three evenings between 26 February – 26 March at Lagan Valley LeisurePlex and Dundonald International Ice Bowl.

Events will include Dodgeball on Wednesday 26 February, Pickleball on Wednesday 12 March and Tenpin Bowling on Wednesday 26 March. These games are suitable for all levels of fitness, including both male and female colleagues.

Chair of Communities and Wellbeing Committee Councillor Jonathan Craig said, “I am delighted to welcome the ‘Business Games Challenge’ back for another year of sporting activities. I am particularly pleased to see the introduction of Pickleball for the first time in the event’s history.

The three evenings promise to be great fun with a number of trophies up for grabs, including Cup and Plate winners at each stage of the competition. The ‘Games’ will then culminate with the crowning of the overall ‘Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council Business Champion’ at the end of the three events.

I would encourage all businesses in the council area to sign up today! It is a great opportunity to enjoy some friendly competition and work together as a team. It doesn’t matter if you have never tried a particular sport before, it is more about taking part and having fun!
