On Monday 2nd March 2020 we introduced a Booking Penalty Strike System due to the high demand for studio classes and to make it fair to all customers trying to book classes.
What is a strike?
If you are a Vitality member and book into a class or gym session online and do not attend or cancel your session or class with less than 4 hours notice you will receive one strike. To avoid a strike, it is essential to swipe your Vitality Membership Card every time you visit a centre so that your attendance can be registered against your class/gym session. You can swipe your membership card at the main reception desk at all centres, the gym reception desk at Lagan Valley LeisurePlex and the new booking kiosks coming soon at Lough Moss Leisure Centre and Lagan Valley LeisurePlex.
Classes/ gym sessions can be cancelled up to 4 hours before the class commences online via our website or Vitality Member App.
How many strikes are you allowed before you receive a ban? If you receive three strikes in a 90 day rolling period you will receive a ban.
What will the ban include? The ban will prevent you booking classes online for 10 days. Class bookings can still be made at the main reception desk at each centre.
How long will the ban last? The ban will last 10 days and will automatically be removed from your account when it expires and the strikes set to zero.
Will I be notified if I have a ban on my account? You will receive a message on your screen when you try to book.
